Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Richmond area, specifically serving schools in Henrico, VA. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, providing valuable support across various caseloads and age groups within the school district. Onsite SLP Assistants and facilitators will be part of the collaborative team supporting student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs Manage and maintain accurate documentation and caseload records Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Utilize evidence-based strategies to support student progress and communication development Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and work closely with onsite facilitators
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Virginia SLP license Experience working in school settings preferred, with caseload management skills Ability to work effectively with children from various age groups Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
