Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing speech and language therapy services to students in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals driven to help children thrive academically and socially. You'll collaborate with educators and families, using your expertise to assess, diagnose, and support students with communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Current or eligible licensure in Virginia Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Compassion, patience, and commitment to student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs Deliver therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support academic progress Maintain thorough documentation for progress monitoring and compliance Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations Stay informed on best practices and new developments in speech therapy This contract role offers an opportunity to shape the educational journey of students by addressing their unique communication needs.
