Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP or SLPA) Previous experience in school settings highly valued Strong ability to assess and document speech, language, and communication needs Collaborative spirit, comfortable working with educators and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify students' needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver targeted therapy (individually or in groups) to address speech and language goals Maintain diligent records and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory standards Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, offering insights for student support Educate and consult with teachers and families on supporting communication and language needs in classroom and home settings You'll find fulfillment in this role as you witness students gaining confidence and achieving their potential.
