Desired Qualifications:
Active SLP license in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain prior to start) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to develop and implement tailored therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students, including assessments, evaluations, and individualized treatment sessions Develop and update IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements Engage and collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other support staff Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed Participate in parent meetings, professional development, and staff training sessions This contract position allows you to apply your specialized skills in a dynamic school setting, where each day brings new challenges and rewarding opportunities to see students grow.
