Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel This full-time Speech-Language Pathology opportunity serves a K-12 caseload in a school setting with travel to Portsmouth, VA. The position offers a mix of direct and indirect clinical services within a dynamic educational environment, ideal for SLPs who enjoy working with pediatric clients across developmental stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations and progress Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines for school-based therapy
Qualifications:
Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license (VA SLP license) Experience in school-based settings preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Strong skills in pediatric SLP services and familiarity with educational protocols Ability to manage full caseload efficiently with excellent organizational skills
