Active Virginia SLP license required School-based SLP experience preferred but not mandatory Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including initiating the Virginia Department of Social Services check and TB test immediately Comfortable working across different age levels (elementary, middle, high school)Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct therapy and consultative services as outlined in IEPs Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress Maintain thorough and compliant documentation Adapt to caseload assignments and diverse student needs Compensation for this opportunity is competitive, with rates determined by your level of experience. Those with 0-2 years of experience can expect rates from $49-52 per hour, 3-5 years at $52-55, 6-9 years at $55-58, and 10+ years at $58-61 per hour.
