Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding educational setting supporting students' communication and language development throughout the academic year. This contract-based opportunity begins July 27th, 2026, and extends through May 28th, 2027, offering consistent, full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) in a collaborative school environment near Stephens City and Winchester, VA. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a lasting impact in local schools while working alongside dedicated educators and support staff.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Virginia SLP license (or eligibility for VA licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered Skilled communicator adept at engaging K-12 students, staff, and parents Comfortable working onsite throughout the assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect SLP services to students as outlined in IEPs Administer assessments, provide therapy, and conduct screenings to support communication disorders Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to foster student growth Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based SLP services This contract offers the stability of a full academic year schedule in a supportive environment where your expertise is valued.
