About the Role At The Speech and Language Center, we believe every child deserves to be understood, respected, and celebrated for who they are. Our therapists embrace a compassionate, child-led, neurodiversity-affirming approach that honors each child's unique strengths, interests, and communication style. We partner closely with families to create meaningful, individualized goals that support participation in everyday life—not just skill acquisition. As a Pediatric SLP, you'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders while collaborating with an exceptional team of SLPs, OTs, PTs, and BCBAs. What You'll Do Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy that is child-led, family-centered, and neurodiversity-affirming. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and BCBAs to provide coordinated, whole-child care. Educate and coach caregivers to support progress beyond the therapy session. Maintain timely and accurate documentation. Communicate effectively with families, referral sources, and fellow team members. Participate in team meetings, continuing education opportunities, and community outreach initiatives. What We're Looking For Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Virginia SLP license (or eligibility). ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply.
