Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunity for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to make a meaningful difference in educational settings for the 2026-2027 school year! This position allows you to support student communication needs within dynamic school communities, beginning July 27th, 2026, and concluding May 28th, 2027. You'll collaborate with passionate professionals and directly impact student growth in an onsite role.
Key Qualifications:
Active VA SLP License required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in school-based settings strongly desired Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work onsite throughout the contract term
Core Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students (K-12) Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support academic and social success Maintain accurate records and provide documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Foster an encouraging and inclusive therapeutic environment Benefits of the
