Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. Schools in the Verona, VA area seek passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Both full-time and part-time positions are available, allowing you to select the schedule that best fits your lifestyle.
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state (or eligibility) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Background in school-based settings or working with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Flexibility to manage diverse caseloads across K-12 grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services for students with a range of communication needs Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and contribute to eligibility meetings Participate in IEP and parent meetings, ensuring clear communication and advocacy for student needs
