Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist or SLPA to an engaging school environment for the full 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite position gives you the flexibility to choose full or part-time hours, working with students from PreK through 12th grade in a collaborative, supportive setting near Vinton, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for a diverse student caseload Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services across grade levels Work closely with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues to promote student success Maintain accurate documentation aligned with state and district policies Participate actively in IEP meetings, team discussions, and student support processes
What You Bring:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid (or eligibility for) Virginia SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows are warmly encouraged to apply Strong skills in communication, organization, and interprofessional collaboration
