Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite role offers a chance to make a positive impact—providing comprehensive SLP services in a school-based setting near Williamsburg, VA. With 35 hours per week dedicated to engaging and empowering students, you'll see the difference your expertise can make throughout their educational journey.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist license required Completed or in-progress Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed, as well as SLP-CCC credentialed clinicians Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly preferred Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset Commitment to evidence-based assessment and intervention practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver a full range of speech-language pathology services to students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student success Conduct assessments, interpret evaluation results, and document progress Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and related school activities Provide direct and consultative services onsite throughout the school year
