Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school-based setting near Williamsburg, VA. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality care to support student achievement.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and IEPs Provide direct therapy services to individuals or small groups in accordance with school policies Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to maximize student progress Document treatment, progress, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development and review of student goals Educate staff and families on speech-language disorders and strategies for support in academic settings
