Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference every day as you support students' communication and learning needs in a dynamic school environment. This contract-based opportunity is designed for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about fostering language, speech, and social skills in school-aged children. You'll collaborate with a supportive education team to help students reach their fullest potential in both academic and social settings.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license for the state Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY supervision Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations, ideally within an educational setting Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning styles and needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations Develop, implement, and track personalized therapy plans and progress for each student Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure integrative support Participate in IEP meetings, provide input and documentation, and update goals as needed Deliver both individual and small-group therapy sessions in accordance with students' IEPs Maintain clear, timely records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Discover the fulfillment of empowering students to find their voice and succeed academically and socially.
