Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year working with students in the Rutland, VT area as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children reach their communication goals in a dynamic, supportive educational environment. As a full-time SLP, you'll collaborate with educators and families to deliver services that make a lasting difference. Whether you're an experienced clinician (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CFY), your expertise in pediatric speech therapy, including teletherapy, will be valued and supported.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid SLP license (or eligibility) in Vermont ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) also encouraged to apply Pediatric and school-based SLP experience highly valued Previous work with teletherapy platforms a plus Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy (in-person and/or remote) to students, ranging from mild to complex needs Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings Engage in professional development and continuing education
