Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract In this rewarding contract opportunity near White River Junction, VT, you'll support school-aged students by providing expert speech-language pathology services. Working as a valued member of the school-based team, you'll help children achieve their communication goals and ensure every student's voice is heard and understood.
What We're Seeking:
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable Knowledge of evaluation tools and IEP process Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff Compassion, flexibility, and a commitment to fostering student growth
Key Responsibilities:
Complete assessments, speech/language evaluations, and develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) Provide direct and consultative speech therapy to students with diverse needs Document progress toward communication goals and participate in IEP meetings Offer support and guidance to educational teams and families regarding speech/language development Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal regulations Adapt therapy approaches as needed to best serve each student This contract position provides the chance to make a significant impact in the academic and personal journey of students.
