Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Special Educator with case management experience looking to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment. Located in Montpelier, VT, this onsite role offers a mixed caseload, providing services directly to students Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with 37.5 hours per week and the potential for additional hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language pathology services to a diverse K-12 student population. Manage a mixed caseload including evaluation, treatment, and progress monitoring. Collaborate with special education staff to support student needs and participate in team meetings. Serve as a case manager for assigned students, ensuring compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide onsite services, replacing a previously virtual provider. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with families and school personnel.
Qualifications:
Current SLP license (CCC preferred) or Special Educator credentials with case management experience. Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings. Skilled in teletherapy is a plus, though this role is onsite only. Ability to manage a mixed caseload and work collaboratively within an educational team. Strong organizational and communication skills.
