Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working with students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric and school-based services. This rewarding opportunity lets you utilize your clinical skills in a supportive and collaborative educational environment near beautiful northern Vermont.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility) Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Passion for helping children overcome communication challenges
Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and caregivers Deliver direct therapy to students and monitor progress toward goals Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide strategies supporting student success in the classroom Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and documentation as required Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall educational planning for each student Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based speech therapy Enjoy the chance to bring your expertise to a school community, make genuine connections with students and staff, and provide crucial services that help young learners succeed.
