Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role providing part-time speech-language pathology services in an engaging school setting near Norwich, VT. With approximately 20 hours per week, this opportunity provides the flexibility to support either elementary or high school students, according to your strengths and preferences. There's potential to increase hours by pairing this position with another nearby union, creating a pathway to a full-time placement if desired.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an
SLP ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience in educational settings strongly valued Comfort with documentation, IEP participation, and collaboration with teaching teams Ability to support a diverse student population with varying communication needs
Position Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs Conduct assessments and document progress toward communication goals Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success Provide both direct intervention and consultative services Maintain timely and thorough records in alignment with school and district standards This adaptable contract position could be a perfect fit for professionals seeking additional flexibility or those interested in exploring elementary or high school caseloads.
