A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) -
Full-Time Location:
Royalton, VT Position Details Full-time onsite role 37.5 hours per week School year: August 2026 - June 2027 Elementary caseload (PreK-8th grade) Small caseload of approximately 40 students SLPAs will also be considered for this role Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services to PreK-8th grade students Support IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Conduct evaluations and participate in meetings as needed Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff Maintain accurate documentation and service records Requirements Active Vermont SLP license required Vermont Educator's Certificate required School-based experience preferred SLPAs considered for appropriate candidate match Why This Role Competitive pay package ($45+/hr) Weekly W-2 paychecks Health insurance benefits Small, manageable caseload Full school-year stability (2026-2027 contract) Supportive onsite school environment #p34
