Job Description

At Anacortes Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia Healthcare , we're dedicated to providing exceptional skilled nursing and rehabilitation services that empower our residents to recover, thrive, and live well. We're currently seeking a motivated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team. As an SLP , you will evaluate, treat, and support residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing needs - helping them regain function, confidence, and quality of life. Competitive pay:
$50-60/hour (depending on experience) Medical, dental, vision 401(k) retirement plan Vacation and sick time off Flexible scheduling Life and disability coverage Professional development and continuing education opportunities What You'll Do Evaluate residents' speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and functional goals Provide direct treatment in accordance with physician orders and plan of care Administer and interpret standardized assessments Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies and home programs Collaborate closely with therapy, nursing, and medical teams Complete accurate and timely documentation (evaluations, daily notes, progress reports) Maintain resident privacy in compliance with HIPAA What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program Active Washington SLP license (or ability to obtain) Valid CPR certification Experience in skilled nursing or rehab preferred - strong new grads are welcome to apply Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills Ready to Make a Difference? Requirements Qualifications Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
Licenses/Certification:
Current license in Speech Language Therapy as required by state law. Valid CPR certification required.
Experience:
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred. Salary Description $50 - $60/hour
