Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting where your expertise in speech-language pathology can truly make a difference for students. This contract opportunity is ideal for SLP professionals passionate about supporting children's communication development in a welcoming and collaborative school environment. You'll work in-person with students throughout the academic week, applying your clinical and pediatric background to help each child reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Washington State Department of Health SLP License Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Washington State ESA for SLPs Clear WSP and FBI background checks, including fingerprinting and sexual misconduct clearance Valid Washington State driver's license, or reliable means of mobility Prior experience in school-based settings preferred Open to SLPs at any career stage, including
CFY What You'll Do:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy for a diverse K-12 population Create and implement IEP goals, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing case conferencing Maintain a schedule of 37.5 hours per week on student in-person days This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals seeking rewarding work during the school year, allowing you to profoundly impact students' lives while developing your expertise in a community-oriented setting.
