Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year within a K-12 public school setting in Bremerton, WA. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and a caseload of approximately 50 students. Caseload assignments will be tailored according to staff strengths, allowing for focused and meaningful support across preK-12 student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students with communication disorders Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in compliance with school policies Participate in team meetings and contribute to district-wide initiatives as appropriate
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Washington State SLP license Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification in Washington Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred Experience working in school-based settings is highly desirable Benefits for onsite employees include: Weekly pay schedule ensuring consistent and timely compensation Access to 401K retirement plans Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options This role presents an excellent opportunity to impact student learning and communication development within a supportive educational environment.
