Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - SLP Job Type Travel Federal Way, WA offers lush Pacific Northwest landscapes and a welcoming community, making it the perfect backdrop for your next adventure as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You'll serve adult and geriatric patients recovering from significant injuries or illnesses, expanding your clinical expertise and resume with hands-on experience in a renowned rehab center.
Schedule/Hours:
Primarily Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm or 8:00 am-4:30 pm Occasional weekend rotation (one per month) with a comp day off during the week 36 guaranteed hours per week
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Active and valid SLP license Inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly required Familiarity with CVA/neuro diagnosis and treatment Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Comfort working with adult and older adult populations Adaptable and collaborative mindset
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver speech/language, communication, and swallowing therapies Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans Maintain patient caseloads of approximately 6.5 sessions per 8-hour day Work effectively with diverse healthcare teams Document in electronic health records (EHR)
