$2717.60Job Description Role:
Speech-Language Pathologist Core Duties:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across the lifespan. Conduct comprehensive speech-language and swallowing assessments using standardized and non-standardized tools. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs. Provide therapy services to inpatient, outpatient, ICU, and rehabilitation populations. Perform bedside and instrumental dysphagia assessments as within scope of practice. Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, compensatory strategies, and home programs. Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and interdisciplinary care teams. Schedule & Work Expectations Days, Varied Full-time schedule Minimum Experience At least 1-year recent experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a clinical or hospital-based setting. Licenses & Credentials Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program ASHA Certification - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license in any U.S. state BLS (AHA) required Must provide verified licensure and certifications.
