Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower student success while making a difference as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for the full school year. This contract position offers you the opportunity to work directly with students and collaborate with a dedicated team of educators. Serving at .75 FTE, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their academic environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license for practice in Washington State Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Monitor, document, and report progress toward therapy goals Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers and families Engage in ongoing communication with parents regarding student progress and strategies for success Adhere to all federal, state, and school-specific guidelines and documentation requirements Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student growth Experience a rewarding contract role where your expertise empowers students every day.
