Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language support in an engaging school environment. Work closely with a collaborative educational team to support students' communication, language, and social needs. This contract opportunity lets you positively impact students' academic and emotional growth, all while advancing your own professional skills.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply School-based SLP experience is highly valued Understanding of IEPs and experience in developing therapy plans Excellent communication, organization, and rapport-building skills with children, staff, and families Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary educational team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in the IEP process Deliver therapy sessions (individual and group) that support progress toward each student's goals Document progress and maintain compliance with all state/federal regulations and school guidelines Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure student success Provide input and recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications Enjoy the flexibility of contract work, variety in your daily routine, and opportunities for ongoing professional growth.
