Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment by providing speech-language pathology services to students. You'll work collaboratively with educators and caregivers to nurture communication skills and help students achieve their full potential. This contract opportunity lets you put your expertise into action, making a difference in young lives every day.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure and relevant certifications for school-based SLP roles Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued Strong skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech/language disorders in children Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with staff and families Flexibility, empathy, and a dedication to student success
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and evidence-based therapy sessions Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students' progress Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings Participate in staff training and school activities, promoting awareness of communication disorders Provide consultative support to faculty and contribute to a positive school culture This contract position offers a rewarding daily experience as you encourage growth, inspire confidence, and watch students make meaningful progress in their communication abilities.
