Nestled on the scenic shores of Puget Sound, Port Orchard offers an inviting blend of small-town charm and access to some of Washington's most stunning landscapes. During your free time, explore picturesque waterfront parks, nearby trails, and the local arts scene, making your stay both professionally rewarding and personally enriching. Professionally, you'll expand your clinical repertoire by working in diverse home health settings across Kitsap County and select areas in Tacoma and Lakewood. This role allows you to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adapt to various patient needs, exposing you to innovative care models and leadership approaches. It's a fantastic way to broaden your skill set, learn new EMR systems (including Homecare Advisor and EPIC), and add valuable home health experience to your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
4 days per week (flexible scheduling) 8-hour days with flexible start times (roughly 8:00 am - 4:30 pm) Variable mileage, estimated at approximately 250 miles per week
Qualifications:
Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license (required) Hospital-based therapy experience, SLP-specific skills Comfortable with mobile charting using EMR systems (laptop/phone, Homecare Advisor, EPIC) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services in patients' homes Provide comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing progress evaluations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Maintain detailed electronic records according to regulatory standards
