Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Rochester, WA, specializing in school settings. This position involves providing essential speech and language services to pediatric and school-aged populations within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Provide targeted therapy sessions to address speech and language objectives Monitor and document student progress with attention to detail Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care Involve and educate families in the therapeutic process to support outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Washington This contract role supports professional development through ongoing guidance from a dedicated advisory team comprised of licensed SLPs in the state. Comprehensive support aids in delivering high-quality care and enhancing clinical skills.
