Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (0-3) to join our dynamic early intervention team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to infants and toddlers, supporting their communication development during the critical early years. Your expertise will help families understand their child's needs, implement effective intervention strategies, and foster meaningful progress. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in infants and toddlers. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's developmental stage and family goals. Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions that promote early communication skills, including receptive and expressive language, phonological awareness, and social communication. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to educate on strategies that support ongoing development at home. Monitor progress regularly, adjusting intervention techniques as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay current with best practices in pediatrics, early intervention, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance patient care. Skills Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques specific to infants and toddlers. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward families navigating early developmental challenges. Solid understanding of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments using standardized tools and observational methods. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pediatric health conditions affecting communication. Knowledge of early intervention programs, federal/state regulations, and best practices for supporting young children's development. Join us in empowering young children to communicate confidently!
