Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist by supporting an Early Learning Program for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is tailored for those passionate about working with young children in an educational setting, creating meaningful impact on student communication and language development.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Hold current SLP licensure (or eligibility) with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and experienced clinicians alike Background in school-based, pediatric, or early learning environments Skills in evaluating and managing speech, language, communication, and related disorders among early learners Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to enhance student outcomes Proficient in documenting progress, developing IEPs, and tailoring interventions for individual needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and comprehensive evaluations for enrolled children Design and implement effective speech and language therapy interventions Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP development Communicate regularly with families and instructional staff regarding student progress and strategies for support Engage in program meetings and professional development as needed This assignment offers the unique opportunity to shape early academic experiences for children while building valuable relationships with educators and families.
