Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication needs in a dynamic school-based contract role! Engage with a diverse caseload, collaborate with educators, and use your expertise to help learners reach their full potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Washington state licensure or eligibility to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage and adapt to a varied caseload across multiple grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings Develop individualized goals tailored to student needs, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed Consult with teachers, special educators, and families to integrate speech-language supports within the general education setting Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by district and state guidelines Offer training or resources to staff and caregivers, promoting carryover of skills beyond the therapy setting This contract opportunity offers a unique chance to thrive professionally, contribute to student growth, and experience the collaborative spirit of a dedicated educational community.
