A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

We are searching for a qualified Speech and Language Pathologist to join one of our trusted school districts for the 2026-27 school year. TheraPeds is a therapist owned and operated company. We believe in hiring skilled contract therapists as well as working closely with school districts in a collaborative approach. More detailed information regarding job description and employment is listed below: Job Description Full time hours, 35-40 hours/week Strong team and collaborative approach Manageable caseload sizes Dual support from the District and TheraPeds This is a contract position for the2026-27 school year August 2026 - June 2027 Competitive Pay Guaranteed Hours Job Requirements Master's in SLP is required State license as a SLP Background and criminal history check Case management duties Team collaboration Student support services Pay & Benefits This position will either be W2 or 1099 (If 1099, the hourly rate will be on the high end with a stipend for health benefits) Bi-monthly salary deposits Hourly rate varies on experience, education and location.
