This is a 1099 in person position covering a leave beginning in October 2026. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders across diverse pediatric populations, including early intervention settings. Your expertise will help children develop essential speech, language, and social skills, empowering them to reach their full potential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives through innovative therapy approaches and patient-centered care. Duties Conduct comprehensive student assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in pediatric patients. Develop individualized educational plans tailored to each child's unique needs, incorporating evidence-based speech therapy techniques. Provide engaging therapy sessions focused on improving communication skills. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support and progress tracking. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in accordance with state standards. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to pediatrics. Qualifications Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant jurisdiction. Prior school experience or pediatric clinical experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy. Experience conducting student assessments and implementing effective speech therapy interventions. Excellent communication skills for working with children, families, educators, and healthcare professionals.
