Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' success and communication development during a vital maternity leave coverage. This contract position calls for two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming school year, working with both middle and high school students. With full-time, 37.5-hour weeks, you'll provide essential services alongside a collaborative team in a dynamic educational environment. Ideal candidates bring a passion for helping youth thrive, whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Teletherapy skills are highly valued, as you'll be ready to engage in virtual instruction and assessment. Be prepared for interviews happening this week and kick off your next assignment in August.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license or eligibility in Wisconsin ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in progress CFY Experience with school-aged populations—especially middle and high school students Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery Strong collaboration and communication abilities Commitment to evidence-based practice and IEP process
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students in individual and group formats Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student assessments Develop, implement, and track progress on IEPs Communicate with students, staff, and families regarding therapy goals and progress Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and federal standards This contract assignment provides a fantastic way to build relationships within the school community, gain experience across a range of ages, and enhance your clinical skill set during a semester-long engagement.
