Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to support student success within a dynamic K-12 educational setting. This contract position is for the 2026-2027 school year, with flexibility to consider multiple part-time candidates working a minimum of 20 hours per week. Beginning September 2026, and continuing through May 2027, this assignment provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication growth while collaborating with a supportive team in a single school location.

$40-$45 per hour (Onsite)

Qualifications:

Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license SLP-CCC preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply if supervision can be provided Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred Wisconsin school experience is strongly preferred and will help candidates stand out Expertise in assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for school-aged children Skilled in collaborating with educators, administrators, and families Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Responsibilities:

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services according to students' needs Collaborate with teaching staff to support classroom strategies Monitor and document student progress, updating goals as appropriate Act as an advocate for students' communication needs during IEP meetings Engage families in the therapy process and provide practical support This position places you at the center of a vibrant school community, allowing you to utilize your expertise to enrich the lives of students across K-12 grade levels.
