What Were Seeking:
Speech-Language Pathologists holding CCC or in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply. Experience in a school-based setting or a strong desire to work in schools. Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy interventions, and IEP processes relevant to elementary-aged students. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 46 elementary students at one site. Flexibility and professionalism to transition smoothly into a leave coverage assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy and evaluation services for elementary students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families. Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and compliance documentation. Adapt treatment and support strategies to meet changing student needs during the assignment. Maintain a positive, student-centered approach within the school community.
