Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave coverage this fall. This contract opportunity is available from September through the end of November, with consistent weekday hours—Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Your expertise will make a real difference in the lives of young learners during a crucial part of their school year.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Prior experience working with school-age children, preferably at the elementary level Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and work with individualized education programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students according to their IEPs Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments as required Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop strategies for student success Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all district documentation requirements Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and family conferences as needed Support students in reaching their communication and academic goals during the maternity leave period Enjoy a predictable daytime schedule that allows you to dedicate your expertise to a supportive educational community.
