Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students across three schools, serving K-12 populations as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC required). This contract position begins September 1, covering an initial full-time maternity leave until Thanksgiving, then transitions to a flexible two-days-per-week schedule through the remainder of the school year. This arrangement is ideal for professionals seeking both full-time and part-time experiences within a collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Previous experience in schools or with school-age children is preferred Comfortable managing a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through high school Exceptional communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments for students in K-12 Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress Deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions both individually and in groups Provide consultation and resources to educational staff across three campuses Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and legal standards This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact through meaningful work with students of varying ages and needs.
