Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist covering a maternity leave from September through the end of November. This contract position offers a chance to make a direct impact during the school day, from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and provide vital speech-language services in a vibrant elementary setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered Previous experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment Solid understanding of IEP processes and school-based documentation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students Conduct assessments to identify communication challenges affecting academic performance Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Maintain clear, detailed documentation for evaluations, sessions, and progress toward goals Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress Support a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and participation As you serve in this essential maternity leave coverage, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference and expand your professional experience in a well-supported school setting.
