Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity supporting middle and high school students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a welcoming educational community near West Bend, WI. This position covers a maternity leave from August 2026 through November 2026 and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference during a key period in students' development. Your expertise will be valued as you provide essential services across both middle and high school settings. You'll be working full-time for 37.5 hours per week, collaborating with dedicated educators and support staff to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment. Both SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible Wisconsin SLP license SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY qualifications welcome Experience or strong interest in middle and high school populations Background in school-based or healthcare SLP services Proficiency with pediatric communication disorders Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students with speech, language, or communication needs Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop and implement IEP goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Consult virtually as needed using teletherapy technology Participate in team meetings and professional development This contract role offers a supportive environment where your skills can shine, working closely with students in a crucial stage of their academic journey.
