Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an enriching contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year! This district-wide, full-time role places you at the heart of student success, delivering vital speech and language services across multiple educational environments. Utilize your skills to make a meaningful difference, working with a variety of student populations and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to support communication growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your passion and commitment are valued here.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Eligibility for state licensure as an SLP in West Virginia ASHA CCC or CFY candidates encouraged to apply Experience in school-based settings or with school-aged children preferred Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services to students across the district Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations Utilize evidence-based interventions to address a broad spectrum of communication needs Benefit from a supportive environment where your contributions are recognized and you're empowered to advance professionally.
