Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students across an entire district as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to serve a diverse student population in an engaging educational environment located near Jane Lew, WV.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license for West Virginia (or eligibility for state licensure) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Applicants in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students ranging from preschool to high school, district wide Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress in compliance with state and federal regulations Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to create supportive learning environments Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions targeting speech, language, social communication, voice, and fluency disorders Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to professional development initiatives when needed
