We're seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across a district near Philippi, West Virginia. This full-time, district-wide contract role is ideal for professionals dedicated to helping students achieve their communication goals and thrive in an educational setting. Applicants with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), are encouraged to apply. Your expertise will touch the lives of a diverse student population, providing essential therapy and fostering lasting progress.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid or eligible SLP license in West Virginia Clinical experience in a school environment is highly valued Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs across multiple school sites Develop tailored intervention plans and provide direct therapy services Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive student evaluations Consult with teachers and families on strategies to support student success Maintain detailed and confidential records of student progress Support students in developing essential communication and social skills This is a fantastic opportunity to serve students across grade levels—your work will have a district-wide impact, helping unlock student potential.
