Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This contract position is ideal for a skilled SLP seeking to make an impact in an educational setting while benefiting from a comprehensive support network.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
Qualifications:
Valid SLP licensure appropriate for the location Experience working with school-aged children in an educational environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop effective therapeutic goals and strategies Commitment to student-centered care and collaboration
