Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Fort Laramie, WY, where your expertise will make a meaningful impact on students' lives. This position is structured for an individual ready to evaluate, create care plans, and deliver targeted therapy within an educational setting, collaborating with a vibrant multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments for students with speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Conduct engaging and goal-oriented therapy sessions. Carefully monitor and document every aspect of student progress. Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to ensure holistic support. Provide guidance and education to families, involving them in the therapy process.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Active, state-approved licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged caseloads is strongly desired. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team.
