Wyoming Child & Family Development, Inc. is now scheduling interviews for a Speech Language Pathologist. This is a full-time position for 40 hours a week 200 days a year. We offer a complete benefits package, no weekends, and most major holidays off as well as an extended winter break. Job Summary To serve as a member of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to evaluate children between the ages of birth through five (5), and to assist in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEP) or Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP). To provide individual therapy to children. To provide training to staff and parents in the areas of expressive and receptive language skills, oral motor functioning abilities, and remediation or adaptations to provide services for hearing impaired children and provide appropriate documentation of those services.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Reliable, organized, and detail oriented Must possess strong problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately Excellent interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with individuals with diverse ranges of personalities, backgrounds, and knowledge bases Strong communication skills are essential to interact with staff, children, families, and the broader community. Must have effective stress management strategies and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations. Flexibility is key; the ability to adapt to changing daily routines is required. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in Speech/Language Current certification, in good standing, issued by the State Department of Education and/or Wyoming Professional Licensing Board of Speech Pathology & Audiology and an American Speech and Language Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D. and be 18 years of age (state requirements). Must be willing to attain additional training or certifications, which may be required by Wyoming Child and Family Development, Inc. WCFD will only accept college degrees from accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
