We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, the SLPA will support the delivery of speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by a supervising SLP Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills. Support implementation of individualized therapy plans and monitor progress Assist with documentation, data collection, and preparation of therapy materials Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings. Maintain compliance with state regulations and school procedures Participate in supervision and training as required Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development. Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes. Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner. Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting. Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program Active SLPA license or certification in Alaska (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
