Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant K-12 setting. This role centers on delivering life-changing communication support to students from kindergarten through high school, all at one welcoming campus on Phoenix's west side. You'll be part of a collaborative school environment committed to the educational and social development of its students.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA licensure to practice in Arizona Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare settings as an SLPA Passion for supporting students' speech and language goals Ability to engage and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families Adaptability working across different grade levels within a single campus Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate session data
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP Support student progress toward individualized education program (IEP) goals Assist with screening, documentation, and data collection Prepare and organize materials for therapy sessions Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to enhance student success Participate in team meetings and school-based initiatives This position runs for the 2026-2027 school year, with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday, and an early release at 12:30 p.m. every Wednesday.
